carping has been it own worst enemy geffski.

l have seen loads pack up carping due to the fact that the lake have become
to over crowded .
even i now will only fish lakes very rarely and i will try and do all my carping now on the fen drains and its like being transported back in time 27years to when i first started carping with no one else about or just the odd angler to share them .
trouble is carping has been made so convenient with every thing ready made .
rigs, baits and with all the latest mod cons that you can now get even the girl freinds or wifes are taken along (have we no
where we can go to get away from them ) nah only joking

but in all fairness its now becoming the same in every aspect of fishing to be honest.
but there are still little oasises to go too out there

apart from that ive been told ther all ozzy carp!
suply a landing net and weight sling! ok but wher is the unhooking mate?
think its this corporates that ar ruining carping!
ive a mate that kicking up a stinck about it, this and other massivly over stocked commercials, emails all over the place! but has got a firm f, off
from papers such as the AT, with the excuse that if they published somthing it would be more amo for peta!!!!
personly i think ther doing petas job for them!

good for you mate! the only carping ive done in the last year has been way up the river arun! apart from getting away from it all when you do hit a carp they fight like a fish twice ther size from a puddle!

Re Links. When you open a new post mate, look at the toolbar at the top. You should see a globe with a couple of chain links on it. Click that & paste or type your link into it then click OK. Took me a while to work it out too mate. As for commercial carp puddles I hate em. I would rather catch a 1lb roach than a 15lb carp from one of those places anyday. Might have to pay a quick visit one to catch a carp for the species hunt though because thus far they have eluded me

As you can see my local puddle has no mod cons

and when you hook up with a carp it may not have far to run but it dosen't stop them from trying!
