| About 20 years ago I fished a match on a lake somewhere close to Wareham in Dorset. Can't remember it's name though. Around the lake were signs that said American Black Bass had been introduced as an experiment & that any caught were to be returned immediately & not kept in nets etc. Doe's anyone know of this water & wether they bred succesfully? ![]() __________________ One man's fish is another man's poissons http://www.deepsea.co.uk http://www.wildtrout.org |

| Re: American Black Bass As for "American Black Bass" there is really no such fish. In different areas it locally can mean different fish. The name is usually used to reffer to smallmouth bass although it can reffer to largemouth bass in other places.
