change of scenery

having a break from piking tomorrow,i'm off to the river medway for a days chub fishing.
had too many blanks of late and i want to get the team started in the species hunt.

Talking Re: change of scenery

Good luck Paul, looking forward to the report. Had a lot of good sessions on the Medway when I lived at Chattenden. Used to love the Maidstone strech. Used to be some cracking Chub under the moored boats. You could tell by all the ledger shape dents on the sides of the boats & the loosefeed on the decks. Felt a bit sorry for the owners. I imagine the boats were heaving with maggots.
