dan the fishing man is on a distinguished road
Big bream

after last visiting my local lake, i had a long chat with the bailiff and was astonished to find that they had drained out one of the old back lakes that hardly anybody fishes. however, after all the years of neglect, the lake held a 15lb bream which nobody (not even the bailiff) knew about!! this, along with about 10 other 12-15lb bream from the same lake have all been put into the traditional lake that, between me and a mate, has produced tench to 9lb, bream to 8lb, carp to 15lb (but i know there is a 30 in there) and i have seen pike come out to just over 20lb! THE POTENTIAL IS THERE!!!
the only downfall to this is that it is not the easiest water. my record is 5 fish in one day on two rods. this included a 6lb bream and 7lb tinca
