| cold snap as the weather gets colder and the anglers start to hibenate and the heating bills go up, silence falls upon many waters , and all that can be heard is the unnoticeble sound of the cat ice increasing its invasion across many waters and before you know it our quarry is protected and trapped beneath the layer for a well earned rest from the angler, only yesterday i went for a walk and saw surprisingly how quick the water had cooled down enough to allow it to freeze and made me think by today it would be solid and the wait would begin before i could go out in search of fish although this is not happened every where yet if the cold snap continues it will . but while i was walking along the drains taking in the stillness of the day i started staring at the water and was pondering on what the fish were doing where they as still as the day above and how long would it be before they would feed again. although this is not the case for every species but my species i chase had stop feeding for the moment . so today i am carefully watching the weather now but it will be good to spend a bit more time with the children tightlines baitmaster ![]() |

| Re: cold snap Being an ice fisherman, I have been long waiting the cold snap. The fish are hunkering down in their winter beds waiting for my line to drop down in front of them. |
