when does passion become an obsession

the new season starts as from june the 16th for the purist out there but as far as fishing the lakes its any time goes any way from june to the start of sept i normaly just go out and enjoy the odd fishing session but by mid september i am organising my zed gear and by the end of september my better half becomes a fishermans widow until march as i go after my favourite species in the evenings as much as i can on the fen drains ,because not only do i love the species i have targets i want to hit (ie:15lb plus) and a few sacrifices have to be made (such as crap evening tv ) but at what point does it turn to being an obsession i have been told because i am out three or four evening a week i am obsessive but i want to hit my targets and i have the backing of my better half and my first target is close as i have had them to 14.10 so what do you think ,do you sit at home 7 days a week and become a telly addict or work all hours and become a workaholic or do you get out there and enjoy your hobby to the best you can

Its the best obsession Ive ever had , well beer and are up there too .

Its and obsession when you travel thousands of miles a year ( often in a few weeks ) if you cannot go fishing you buy tackle just so you feel part of it

Its only an obsession if your missing note payments to finance your fishing.
Tapping out your savings might seem an indicator but it still doesn't count.
