| I fish mostly from the shore with waders and I had a lot of sucsess this year large and smallmouth. But now the water is getting colder below 60 I can't seem to cacth anything. I used mostly Gary Yamamotto's 4 and 5 in single tail grubs they worked great. But I am a bit confused right now on what to lures to use in colder water.......... And where do the bass go when its get cold? I live in the Boston MA area. Any help would be greatly appriacited. | Re: cold water bass Those Gary Yamamotto's grubs are good lures, in the cold bass tend to head for deeper water, where they can ambush prey easily, might be worth trying a livebait or failing that deep diving plugs look for cover, ledges under the water, dropoff's etc, __________________ Both sensing and reason come into play with our conception of the world-Kant |
