Barbel Rod?

Thinking of buying either the John Wilson signature Barbel rod 1.75lB or the Shimano Hyperloop Barbel XT 1.75lb for use on my local river the Loddon, so hopefully will bag some chub and barbel.

I guess the JW is more flexible size wise?

Does anyone have any experience of these and preferences?

Thanks

Thumbs up Re: Barbel Rod?

I use the Shimano Hyperloop, lovely rod + mine came with a spare Avon top end & free reel. Trouble is I got it mail order & can't remember where from. Think it was Bennetts of Sheffield.
