Creaking line

Is it normal for line to 'creak' against the line guides when playing a fish ? Is there a way to prevent this ?

Re: Creaking line

are you using braid-some noise is normal
if you're using mono(&ceramic guides)-check all your guides w/a q-tip for cracks, and make sure the ceramic rings are solid(don't spin in the frame)
