 Best fishing day ever Well, what a day i have had  me and 1 mate fished a new lake, we were a bit worried about blanking cos there is so many lakes and it's big!!  but did we blank?? HELL NO!! over 150 fish were hooked!!!! We fished the newest lake (well gravel pit) and we were the only 1's there, for the last 30 mins we fished another lake and caught 20 fish in like 10 mins!! Species were Perch, Tench, Chub, Roach, Rudd..some ornimental carp (ghost koi, and some cross bred, dunno what but they were golden mirror carp, beauties!!) no biguns but boy did they fight!! a 3 oz perch would pull you right down!! must be on some sort of drug!! lolol     |

| Re: Best fishing day ever Well done mate! sounds like you had a very busy day! quite a few different fish there to mate which sounds good to me! spose with it being a new lake they aint been caught before so is that why they fight so good or you think its something in the water?lol oh well nice report mate good read! |

| Re: Best fishing day ever thanks mate, we spoke to the owner and he said that the orangey gold carp had only been in there for 2 weeks, so they were a good fight! going again Thursday and hopefully another day if i can persuade my dad to go on his 1st fishing trip.. |

| Re: Best fishing day ever Sounds good to me! i know if i had a day like that i would be back the day after if i could! good luck with trying to talk your dad round! i could never get my dad to fish when i was young well tell a lie i got him to go once or twice and we had a good night but he didnt take to it even know he had some good catches! oh well hope your next trip is as good as you last! |
