 Re: Best fishing day ever went out today, nice weather nice fishing!! first few mintues saw a good run on my bite alarm, it produced a 1-2lb tench. quite a few perch and roach caught too. moved to another swim, more perch and roach, moved again better this time more roach and perch, some rudd too and my 2 ornimental carp from there (commons bred with goldfish) more roach finished off the day my mate hooked a biggish mirror, but there was a knot in his line, and it snapped straight away! around 70 fish altogether Great fishery!!! |

| Re: Best fishing day ever sounds like you have found a brilliant spot there. An excellent variety of fish too. Always makes the trip a bit more interesting i think if you get a mixed bag. On the dad thing, i couldnt get my dad to go with me even tho in his younger years he used to fish untill he blanked once to often and threw his rod, reel and other stuff in the river and vowed never to go again. I suppose he kept his word. |
