Fishing the River Vlatva in Prague

Has anyone ever fished the River Vlatva that runs through the centre of Prague?

I'm off there for a weeks holiday soon and wouldn't mind giving it a go, so any tips or tricks would be most welcome.

Will be in Berlin for a week before and a week after also, so if anyone has fished any of the rivers that run through this city I wouldn't mind a bit of info to help me on my way.

Been there but never fished it

Its a big powerful river with massive floods during the winter

I did see people fishing but did not chat or watch how they were getting on as it was suppose to be a romantic break (no fishing involved)

Of what I saw I would go ledgering with bread luncheon meat or give cheese a go

lol - luncheon meat, your favourite. Did you break it out on Sunday? I was too ill to notice.

The apartment we have is really close to the river so it will be a quick nip out before the rest of the family are awake or at night when they are asleep. It looks a massive river but I didn't fancy ledgering mate, more like taking some plugs and lures and spinning.
