Re: which rod

First of all welcome to the fishing forum

There are loads of spinning rods on the market so the best place to start is how much you are willing to spend

Re: which rod

Welcome to the forum.

You cant really go too wrong with an Avon type rod with two tips. An avon tip and a quivertip.

I have a john wilson heritage avon, and would be excellent for general purpose freshwater fishing and also light / medium spinning. I have happily caght carp upto 15 lb on it and also 2oz roach!
