I am having problems keeping my hooks on the line, I have been using ready made hook to line rigs but I have lost a couple of good sized fish due to the hooks actually coming off the pre made hook length. I was thinking of a drop of superglue on the knots as these have unravelled a couple of times at both the hook and mainline end. My knots have been OK, or going to straight hook to main line and diong away with the ready mades. Apart from that I had a good day and caught 4 or 5 decent Tench and a couple of Carp on Maggot with a swim feeder packed with Monster Carp Ground bait with maggot and sweet corn mixed on a 14 hook |

| Re: hooks pulling out I generally use a link attached to my line to hold trhe hook. Latwely, because it is late season and I get lazy I have not been. I double not, or more, the hook. I also use multiple knots on my link or infront of/ behind sinkers, etc... More is better, at least in my eyes. |
