New Hants member

Hiya, recently got back into fishing after 20 years off - i went on holiday in Devon other week and stumbled across a lake so thought i'd have a go - it was brimming with 2-4lb carp, don't think i've ever caught so many. So i'm hooked again

I live in Chandlers Ford and am currently thinkin of joinin either EDAC or TVBC, maybe next year, although the waters of EDAC ive seen so far (lakeside & hiltingbury) seem to be a bit public for my liking, with chavs hanging around. Used to be part of SPS (now part of TVAC) but cant find addresses for their lakes on their website. I hear longbridge is good on a day ticket, just off up there now for a look.

Any Hants members on here ?

Mainly fishing on the float with pellet / maggot (and on the surface too occasionally for bigger stuff) and once the rustiness wears off might invest in a carp rod and have a go on the bottom.

Re: New Hants member

Thanks guys. I actually live in Salisbury but my missus lives in Chandlers Ford, so i'm always creeping round there for my tea after fishing

When i used to fish in the 80's i'm sure there weren't this many course fisheries around in the area, surprised me actually since taking it up again how many there are.
