Went for a walk

Went for a walk down to my little river to see how it was looking as am thinking of fishing tomorrow, gin clear as usual, could see the chub+roach swimming in the shallow swim on the side of the bridge, and on a branch just above a kingfisher! First time in about 5 years that I ahve seen one of these birds, was pleasing to see that they are returning albeit slowly but they are returning, was a rather nice soght am deffo going down tomorrow maggots for fish, seed for birds

Talking Re: Went for a walk

good luck aks19, & have a good day.
Walnut Creek is a flood control rez. south of town. the N.R.D. left the trees standing as they flooded it for fish habitat below and bird above. Its great, Walnut...has crains that hunt from the trees and live in the bull rushes along the bank. Its fun when they fly over squaking and singing, like they are supervising the fishing. It really seems like if your catching theyre quiet, if not they seem to curse you.

great fun
