| Wally's Any walleye catchers around? Bites been unusually short lately. Seems to be around a 20 minute window the last few nights. |

| Re: Wally's Got a few dinky ones, in the flood control lakes around Omaha, a couple feet from the bottom w/a drop rig and live minnows. Nothing to write home about(or take home) ![]() __________________ A bad day fishing is better than a good day working! | Re: Wally's I have been to Walleye lakes, but never caught one. I heard that early evening is good, but is there any way to determine when Walleye are most likely to bite. How close to shore do they stay? |

| Re: Wally's They hide in deep channels to hunt and stalk prey. So find a map of the bottom to see where the channels are and cast on either side of a weedline. It can be done fron shore but a boat or tube/pontoon is easier, esp. finding the weed lines. Good Luck ps.and LIVE bait if pos! __________________ A bad day fishing is better than a good day working!
