unidentified species

I am a beginner at coarse fishing and whilst having caught several species, I am unsure if this fish is a carp or not. It weighed 5.5lbs, if anyone can identify the exact type I would be grateful.

Agree looks like a chub - where and what did you catch it on as it must have given a good fight
