| Re: newbie to stream fishing I fish the same type of enviroments here in CT. I have found that I get my best luck with nightcrawlers. I plan on trying corn this weekend, I heard it may work good on trout and sunfish. There are many lures such as Rappallas and the generic ones that wal*mart sells that claim to work on all game fish. I have 3 Wammy Tail Spinners to try to see how they work. I will try to get back with some results. ![]() |

| Re: newbie to stream fishing Try small spinners (Mepp's, BlueFox ect.) tipped with a garden worm. Also drifting small worms or minnows under fallen trees or undercut banks will pay off. Just a small hook and enough spit shot to get the bait to the bottom than let the current move it for you. Good Luck |
