Exclamation Stren or Trilene?

I'm trying to decide between Stren Extra Strength, or a Trilene Sensation? Which line is better...and which Trilene line is the best of all the ones they make?

Re: Stren or Trilene?

You didn't say for what kind of fishing but in general terms I only use Triline on spinning reels and maxama on level wind reels. As far as my choice these are the two best lines on the market.
My fishing partner disagrees with me and goes with braded line.

Re: Stren or Trilene?

Every time that I have boguht line, I have bought the cheapest stuf that is suitable for what I am fishing for. Since I am not going for trophy fish, that's not a problem for me, except when a big fighter clamps on and breaks my line. Happened to weeks ago after I finished relining b/c I had a kink in the reservoir of line in my reel.

Re: Stren or Trilene?

Trilene XL is the only line I use.
