Re: dragon carp rods I haven't got one, but everyone I know who has one have said they're rubbish. Try the Kingfisher rods in Argos mate. They're quite cheap and sturdy, my mate has 1 and has landed some fish up too double figures on them. Although, the Dragon ones are probaly the same as the Kingfisher ones, so up too you __________________ Dan `·.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸ Big or small, look after them all! ¸.·´¯`·.¸ ><((((º>

Re: dragon carp rods Yeah, you can get some very decent rods for under 40 quid. Ron Thompson are quite good for the cheaper rods Sounds like a good price for a Daiwa rod Rob. __________________ Dan `·.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸ Big or small, look after them all! ¸.·´¯`·.¸ ><((((º>

Re: dragon carp rods You can get 2 Dragon carp rods for £20 (yes, a tenner each). See their ad on the web and Anglers Mail. Seems like they're worth buying to sell on Ebay - somebody 2 days ago bid and bought a pair for £37. Don't know whether the're worth buying to use ![]() __________________ * <0((fluff))< " 90% of the fish are in 10% of the water "

Re: dragon carp rods Bit late sorry Dave but I think my Shakespeare carp rod (2.5lb) and bait runner reel cost £45 as a combo. Not sure of the models at present but can find out for you. It's not a bad rod which I have mainly used for saltwater float fishing (used it fishing with you at Exmouth).
