Leeches

Anyone know where you can purchase leeches suitable for a fishing bait?

I think you can get them from med suppliers but best bet is some liver in a trap

I've never tried them yet mate, but have heard they're great for cats. This month me and Chris are doing a night on the specimen lake at Cobbleacre, and it holds a few cats to 40lb. Also carp to 33lb+ and I imagine they'd take them too.

You aren't allowed to use deads, so was thinking leeches might be a good bet

How do you mean liver in a trap? What sort of trap would it be, and would it just work in my garden?

Well as a kid I just shoved some liver in a milk bottle and put it in the smelly part of a pond or stream and they would come

need to keep it fresh and check every hour

Medical suppliers I do not know off any of hand but they are about - do not ask how I know or why

Have you tried any of the high street banks or loan sharks they have a few leeches in them

I agree with richard LOL...best bait to trap them with is fresh offal kidney or liver it has to be bloody so hence to check it as often as possible.
