| Re: burbot fishing i think burbot are now believed to be extinct in this country, they were caught in some rivers until about 30 years ago. i think the angling times is offering a reward for the capture of one in this country. |

| Re: burbot fishing My best luck for them is icefishing at night. Live minnows or jigging glow in the dark spoons. They tend to circle after being hooked and can tangle other lines up quick. Also known as ling, ling cod or freshwater cod. Excellent eating. |
