Re: surface fishing

I do not start surface fishing till the nights get a steady 10c

Just seem to get more when the nights are at that temp thus keeping the surface water warmer

Might be wrong

Re: surface fishing

Not been many fish rising lately. I lost a couple off the top a month or so ago, and on my last trip to Reepham, had 2 off the top.

Re: surface fishing

I prefer too use dog biscuits.

I just soak mine in lake water for about 5-10 mins, and hook them. They seem too prefer them when they've been soaked along time, and are really spongey. Although it will come off the hook very easily
