i would love to catch some pike and perch on the upper river bann but where is good for spinning? close to gilford

Do you mean size wise? I'm not quite sure I havnt actually caught any yet. I usually fly fish for trout at a certain part of the river and catch the odd roach so I'm assuming there is perch and also pike. I fished there on saturday but had no luck. I'm not sure whether I'm targeting the right straetch of river for these species

Yes, size wise !

I've been after a 4lb Perch for some time now (PB 3lb 9oz) so I'm always interested in large ones from anywhere.

toome is good for perch near where the creagh concreate take the sand. Also the blackwater is pretty good for pike
