Re: Lake Minnetonka

Hi Johnny and welcome

Fished it a few years ago - large lake, good ice fishing?

I seem to remember the lake has walleye, pike, bass and panfish. I'm sure standard methods will succeed.

If you're in Rhode Island I think you'll get more info from your side of the pond than here in the UK.

Re: Lake Minnetonka

Good luck, Even alot of locals like me avoid Tonka. The boat traffic is Horrible. If you can fish the midweek you will be much better off. The species you mentioned are correct, but also note that there are Both Small and Large mouth Bass, there are Big Muskies in the lake. Crappies have been caught upwards of 2 Pounds, Sunfish are small in size with an occasional suprise Big one. Be prepared for some Really rude Boaters.
