| What did Christmas bring? I got a Shimano Aspire Pro Competition carryall (which im still in two minds about as I preferred my older broken Shimano one) and Avanti Cyclotherm Suit (which I shall be review on my blog below in due coarse). I guess I complained about being cold a bit to often but now I have no excuse, especially as I had thermal wellies to (excuse the pun) boot! Just need to give them a good test now! | Re: What did Christmas bring? The wife gave me a subscription to MLB TV to watch baseball online. My least favorite relative (my uncle) gave me a pair of binoculars with a built-in digital camera. | Re: What did Christmas bring? A smashing pair of thermal socks from my little girl. ~2.3 TOG, and already tried, tested, and loved! I/She also got me a 'summer' bivvy, been using my mates for the last 3 months so thought I really should get myself one. Couldn't say no as it was a bargain @ £10, and ideal for not only fishing but also for Daddy/Daughter picnics!  Couple of thermal tshirts (seems I too have been moaning about temps  )Also cash and a Tackle Shop gift voucher, which has now morphed in to a Beach Buddy! I also seem to have got an oddly increased urge to fish (even pre BB)..... Rolled in @ gone 7am on the 27th (left home Boxing night). Now currently say here thinking "Do I go out for the 3:40am tide...." Can partially blame it on wanting to take BB out, but it also looking to be 'warm', well double figures anyway. | Re: What did Christmas bring? I got a couple of fishing books including fly fishing for pike by David Wolsoncroft-dodds and a few lures to add to my collection. Also got some cash which i will take along to Veals in Feb for their sale. |
