American-rules football is a joke at the professional level. It's almost as bad as basketball in its promotion of the most thuggish players as heroes. I lost interest in both a long time ago. I only really follow baseball and competitive black bass fishing and occasionally watch a few other sports. I'm really excited about the BASSMaster Classic this year, I'm hoping to see Kevin van Dam overcome hernia surgery and a career-long bad streak on the Red River to pass Rick Clunn and win his record 5th title.
