I don't understand some people

Had a lovely morning with the mrs at a local lakes, weather was great and managed to have a fair bit of action on the carp having had a few doubles out, not bad for mid October

Arrived to the couple of lakes empty and come the third fish about 12 it was a lovely peaceful place.

Now about 2 some people come milling around and out of two empty lakes one decides to fish about 15 yards up from me in a corner swim. Within 30 seconds of him being in the swim all manner of bait is getting turfed in every possible inch of the swim, ground bait 100's of boilies and god knows what

Also did the classic bait the margins then get your hammer out trick

The swim in question has two underwater snags and guess where he planted one of his rods first cast then has to pulls for a break. Then not to be out done the recast comes within 2 ft of my bait when he would have seen exactly where my lines where when he came past the swim as the bank is raised. Luckily he heard my mrs saying he was starting to take the piss and he promptly moved it.

Then a 100 more boilies went out then after 30 mins he walked off all gear in situ and didnt come back for the next two hours till I came away.

Had this been at the start of my session I would have prob said something but as it was within a couple of hours of us leaving I just shook my head and got on with it.

I need a big garden to dig my own lake

A genuine encounter with a true idiot there I reckon. Why does our sport attract such morons I wonder? I had an encounter the other week on the river. I set off early for a short session and on my way to the bank noticed in the distance somebody fishing (probably getting wasted), stood on the bank with their top off (6am, October??) shouting at me. I couldnt make out what they were sayin till I got up close and the moron was asking me if I smoked? Although I do, I said I didn't as I was not about to give the looser a fag at todays prices. I walked on and set up 100yards up river, out of site of the idiot. Within half an hour the moron had walked up towards me, and, clocking me smoking a fag came over going on about how I said I did not smoke etc then pestering me for a fag, repeatedly. (The guy was probs about 25 years old - not a kid)) I lost my rag unfortunately and told him where to go, to which he promptly walked up stream and started chucking rocks into my swim then shouting various insults as he ran for his little useless life, dropping his £5.99 starter rod in the process....ha!! When I packed up and walked back, his swim was full of empty lager cans and rubbish. Why oh why should we have to deal with people like this when we go for a relaxing day on the bank? I need a big garden, with a nice stretch of river running through it and enough room to dig a lake!!!

Unfortunatly there are lots of people out there with" all the gear and no idea " ,and no common sense either by the sound of the bafoon you encountered .

Sorry to hear that you guys had some unpleasant experiences,i am afraid to say that it seems to be occuring more and more often,better luck next time chaps and try not to let the B*****s get you down

like i said sounds like salforditis get lots of it there but the idiot usualy has a radio blaring and a crate of tennants

Maybe he was trying to get rid of his bait up for the winter.

You see it a lot in sea fishing mate. No one for miles and they set up 10ft away and cast over you
