| When to fish? Can someone please give me some tips of WHEN to fish? Normally there about 10 - 15 people in the lakes that I fish. However, I have noticed when I have been out recently (last Saturday & today) there only been a couple of other people. Was there a memo (passed around experienced fisherman) that I missed!!! No fish caught and only a few bites on both occcasions Please advise. __________________ Sion&Robyn Float & feeder - Lakes nr. | Re: When to fish? I find that right before a front comes in, either a warm or cold front, or any change in the weather is a signal. Right before the change happens, the fish will often turn on. I fished today, after a cold front came through yesterday. The fishing was lousy. It'd been good all week. __________________ 2012 species: 13 All-time species: 65 New species caught in 2012: white sucker, popeye shiner, white shiner |

| Re: When to fish? Sion if you want to qualify as a real fisherman, you need to learn how to be nosy ![]() Any time you see other people fishing you MUST introduce yourself - get chatting and ask them all the questions that you are asking us. I think you'll find that they will have more knowledge of the way your lake fishes than we do. But if that fails let me know and I'll put my psychic powers to work ![]() ![]() ![]() |
