Re: Maggots! down south we prefer bronze, especially for chub, tench, roach, assorted cols for change baits, just a handfull. or buy 1/2 pt each of whatever colours he has, keep separate, and use each colour for 1/2 an hour, see which ones work best. caster and hemp also a good combination. loose feed hemp sparingly, caster on hook, large hemp also on hook will normally catch better sized fish. __________________ good luck and tight lines chris lifes to short for animosity.

Re: Maggots! red maggot can often tempt a bite when whites etc fail. i use mostly reds when bream fishing or after perch. __________________ www.riverswayonline.co.uk

Re: Maggots! from what i have read/watched and tried, a good mix is best, red seem to work a tad better, i think. Ive just bought some hemp and halibut pellets in a size 3mm and 8mm, also soft hook pellets, im gonna try for bigger fish on saturday. __________________ Feel free to check out my photo's www.facebook.com/saladdodgerphotography Twitter: UKAndyWilliams
