As The Title Suggests Thats Me Done With Fishing. Ive Been Fishing Since I Was Around 8 Years. Ive Spent The Last 2-3 Years With My Local Club, Warminster And District Angling Club. Ive Met Many Friends Through The Club And This Forum. I Have Recently Been Threatened And Bullied By Members Of The Club And Today Received Further Threats And Threats To My Family. Fishing Really Isnt Worth All This Hassle. I Started To Really Get Back Into Fishing To Relax And Enjoy Time Outdoors. This Now Isnt Possible.

If A Mod See's This Post Can You Please Delete Me From This Forum As I Cant See How To Do It Myself.

If your the warminster club secretary why can't you ban them from the club? And then get the police on the scum!!! @@@@ the club off and keep enjoying your fishing.

Never have been a fan of clubs. Usually ends up being a bunch of numties wanting power to tell other people what to do.
As I lived in Germany some Fishermens Club member told me I cannot walk my dog around one of the local lakes as the dog would make a mess. I told him to f....ing look at the mess the anglers were making. Absolute disgrace.
As said above f... the club...enjoy your fishing on your own or with a couple of friends!

If your club secretary , then surely you must report these people to the police
You have been put in a position of responsibility , and if any other member came to you with this problem,you would tell them to ring the police, therefore you should do it yourself.........threatening you is bad enough but threatening members of your family is taking this far too far.
I dont know the reason for the threats but still say RING THE POLICE , if you let them get away with this , they will only bully and threaten others .
I dont mean to sound harsh , but for the sake of all other existing and future members , these people should be reported.

As for giving up something you obviously enjoy..............WHY.............

Contacted The Police This Morning As Soon As He Threatened Me. He's Contacted Me Twice Since I Spoke To The Police To Inform Me That Several Members Are Apparently After Me Because It Was My Name On The Bottom Of The Letter He Received Revoking His Membership For His Behaviour. Even Though It Was A Committee Decision To Revoke His Membership. As I Said Before Met Some Really Nice People Through Fishing But There Seems More Idiots Than Friends.

Well done for that.............now being secretary , why not send a letter to all members informing them what has happened and state the club will not put up with this behaviour and any repetition of this will result in charges being brought against any offenders.............i am sure no-one will continue this when they know the police are involved.....AND CARRY ON FISHING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!YOU KNOW YOU LOVE IT

What a joke, do these brainless idiots not realise that if it was not for people like Simon giving up their time to act as club officials then the club would not exist. Just goes to show the level of maturity these c*#ks are displaying, surely we should have left this business of getting people to go after one another in the school playground.

Dont know what to suggest as a remedy to the problem but dont give up your hobby because of these d#*kheads. Maybe join another angling association or club as a regular member.
