good places to fish in the north west

Hi i am new to fishing an i was after a few places in the north west to fish am not that bothered what i catch thanks

chady what do the docks fish like in pool we heard you can fish off some embankment sposed to be good fishing

If you fancy joining a club ..Newton Le Willows angling club is near you I think and have some good waters they also have a website so you can check n see if they close by
