river severn barbel help

As many people know I've been after mt 1st barbel for some time.. And it still hasn't came I ended up loosing 3 fish yesterday through hook pulls but was wondering can anyone suggest a new stretch of severn dat could produce my 1st barbel maybe? I'm worcester based but can travel aslong as it isn't miles away as I relie on ma step dad for transport at the moment,
As I've started to think hooking 3 yesterday was pure luck as the stretch I've been fishing apperntly isn"t knowen to produce barbel but I've been puttin bait and effort it as much as time allows, sorry to be a pain :/

Many thanks

Jay

somtimes it pays to bait up a few places then walk back and fish them under banks trees in gullies at the end of a glide ect finding the fish is the hard part, try bed of halibut pellets and fish fishmeal boilies over them i use crab bio by rolling mills but i dare say any will work, wychwood rouge great for the dosh paid 50 quid each from mates shop ,other thing join the barble society they will helps
