How do you cast with a sidewinder attached? Do you cast through it or disengage it?

I always disengage as it's only a flick-on, flick-off action but I guess there's no real need.

Thanks bampah, just ordered one from an ebay store. The pigs tail style end ring looks a quick way to disengage it
