Re: severn big bream?

What bait he use? As I was thinking open ended feeder with brown crumb and brassam with casters and chop worm, with worm and caster on a size 10 to 4lb hooklink to 6lb mainline

Re: severn big bream?

I will try and find out but I would think they would have used maggot and groundbait in swim feeder

Re: severn big bream?

Any bream of 8lb is worth targetting - chopped worm, maggots and casters will all catch.

Re: severn big bream?

certain sthrecthes yes 6lb is ok i use pretson innovations powerline theyre 7.5 lbs line is only 0.19mm and strong so a 8-10lb mainline with a 6-8 hooklentgh would be ideal imo just incase you catch a barbel etc

Re: severn big bream?

Yeah that"ks true, cheers :)
I'll defo be doing some research into them then :)
I was thingkin.. Standard feeder rod with a 2oz tip 6lb maxima mainline. With a 1 or 2oz runnin carge feeder 4lb hooklink to a size 10 hook with a whole worm tipped with caster, marnie halibut groundbait mixed with chopped worm and caster, or browncrumb and. sensas bream groundbait with hemp and corn mixed in.. As appnertly the bream won't touch the pellets on the severn ( so I've been told)
