| Re: river salwarpe advice? havent fished it myself know people who've fished it meant to be rammed with pike, chub, roach etc a fair few barbel to i would use a simple free running ledger wuth a bomb or small feeder long hooklength like 3ft,size 14-16 hook, bait up 4-6 swims and give each half hour and move on to the next if you haven't had any bites on that time , when you leave bait up and return if you have time, look for swims with deeper holes smooth glides with a bit of flow, outside of bends, sure that barbel will come __________________ hates 'carp puddles' targets for 2011 10lb+worcs stour barbel, specimen tench and chub. |
