trout bait rod???

hello i am 13 and i am a confident angler, i was wondering out of the 3 rods i have which one would be best for the job of bait fishing for small rainbow trout of about 1-2.5 lbs. I have 9ft, 8ft and 6ft spinning rods. I would be using a bubble float and using maggots or corn as bait.

Hi Connor.
Probably best to use the 8 or 9ft rods. The 6ft will be ok off a boat or in a tiny stream. You say they are spinning rods? Why not try using a spinner or small lure for the rainbows...its fun way of fishing for trout.
