Barbel fishing Ross on Wye

Hi all, Looking to do some barbel fishing around ross on wye, I understand
the wye angling centre in ross sells day tickets, has anybody fished these
stretches ?. any info much appreciated. cheers.

Hi mate

Look on line for Chris Pondsford, a top bloke. He knows the area well. He is a EA bailiff as well as a guide. If you can spare a hundred pound or so book up a day with him on his sydicate water. I went with him last year or was it the year before.... and had a brilliant time including plenty of barbel.
