| quarry fishing Going to fish for carp at local quarry this weekend for first time but wondered if anyone can offer some useful tips for quarry fishing. i know its 60ft deep in places so is float fishing still a worthy method ? Any types of swims i should look out for ? thanks |

| Re: quarry fishing i once fished a quarry pit it was 50 feet deep just used float fished at about 6 foot used hempand pellet on the hook had a few small roach and a skimmer but nowt much i didnt really enjoy it so not tried it since my advice is to go armed with a few different methods of set up in case ones not working tight lines __________________ give a man a fish and feed him for a day ,teach a man to fish and he will be gone for a week fishing is a discipline in the equality of men ,for all men are equal in the eyes of a fish |

| Re: quarry fishing Your going to need to plumb around, in my experience of pit fishing the carp wont show much in that super deep water. |
