 SPAM on offer. Hey, just a quick one. SPAM is on offer all week in Morrisons. 2 of the big 340g tins for £2. They also have a limited edition bacon one and the black pepper - They are not included in the offer but worth a go. Just bought two cases of standard which during these hard times is a worthy investment! Just thought I'd share the offer. P.S. I don't work or profit share with Morrisons!!     |

| Re: SPAM on offer. Theres some shops in our area called B&M Home Bargins - not sure if they are nationwide - they sell tins of luncheon meat for 75p and its exactly the same as Plumrose (nice and solid, not too fatty) which has rocketed up to £1.40 a tin!! |

I am trying to think when its price went up - I mean surely, nobody actually eats that shite so it must be us anglers who have caused the price hike - the luncheon meat companies must have realised we were all buying it so banged the price up!! - Spam is like the untouchable meat nowadays - I think its £2.60 in our local shop - Madness!! |

| Re: SPAM on offer. I was thinking the same thing whilst merrily chopping up 12 tins the other night so I tried a bit, before adding magic ingredients. I shall certainly not be making it a regular part of my diet!! Disgusting. I always buy a load when its on offer, so I have plenty of bait for the season or incase there is a nuclear type appocalypse (it has a shelf life of xxxx years, so I'd be alright for food!). |
