| fishing under me bridge about half hour ago i was targeting some roach at the bridge as had to climb down there and just bout room for one so was bit sqaushed well i had a pound hoolink on with a size 20 hook.had afew roach but the ones i was targeting must of got scared off from me climbing down.so i whipd the float under the bridge then bang flot goes and onto something i say a decent size did not see the fish had about a 2 min fight with it though then snappd.i did think tench.but perch cud be under there aswell but i was using bread.wish i saw it cud of been a a big roach!!! and plus no room for landing net so i was in deeep @*"$ lol |

| Re: fishing under me bridge Could av been a troll...hehee, only jokin bud. Up yer line strength and hook, there might be some big roach and perch under there, perfect place for the big ones to hide out!! |

| Re: fishing under me bridge possibly a mallard ![]() i know the rivers round here have some dirty big brown trout under the bridges and if the spot is regulary frequented by people feeding ducks then they will take bread all day .. | Re: fishing under me bridge na its more cross canal dyke sorta is weird but has some nice fish in there.def using a few more pound line and see wht else we get.going to find a few bridges on sat with mate and see wht we get nothing like light tackle fishing and going place to place |

| Re: fishing under me bridge Could have been anything. I have had some nice catches of large Chub under a railway bridge on the upper Lea trotting a float along the edge by the wall. They seem to get used to the trains passing overhead.
