getting hanged

Hi,

I just tried last weekend to persuade rainbows to take my spinners, but they didn't. Instead spinners got hanged up in some stones and I lost them.

Does someone has a hint what could help? Did someone made experience with nymphs using floats or sth?

Water is a river, depth changing between 0.3 to 1.5 meters, rocky riverbed with nice riffles and runs.

Hi Chris !
You can try using a Rapala minnow (shallow runner) or a freelined worm.
You can try a float with a string of flies but if you hook more than one you will have your hands full.
I use worm here for brown trout and its by far the best
