| canal fishing hey guys, im soon going to fish on canal basin in coventry, can you give me some advices about how to catch bream or carp, and what method and bait to use. cheers      |

| Re: canal fishing A lot depends on wether carp and bream are in that stretch . Canal carp are a challenge and are best fished for when you know they are present. If not then you could be chasing ghosts. There are probably bream but again to target a specific species it's best to know they are present in numbers. So , without wishing to sound like I am avoiding the question, your best bet is to find the nearest tackle shop and ask them if the fish you are after are present.
