| Advice wanted Please take a look at the link below (from march) http://www.expressandstar.com/news/2...en-from-canal/ I normally fish a couple hundred yards down the canal from this quay where the fish have been removed, i was planning on going tomorrow for the first time this year. Do people think it will be worth it know this has took place? or will other fish have now populated that area of the canal? thanks in advance |

| Re: Advice wanted According to the URL on the site it looks like it was reported on the 14th March this year so I dont think the Canal would have fully recovered yet. I wonder if they had the fish health checked correctly before moving them to another water? or just netted them and transferred them? I assume they must have otherwise they would have been breakng the law regardless of the bit of paper that said they were entitled to remove 9,000lb of fish. I would be sick If I fished that section of canal. __________________ My Web Site (The Average Coarse Angler) Happiness is Fish Shaped (It used to be woman shaped but the wifes getting on a bit now) |
