Hugo is on a distinguished road
Crockerton

Hi, I was just looking to get some advice/tips for fishing Crockerton. Joined Warminster angling club this year but won't be able to fish until July because I am at uni at the moment.

I like to think of myself as an allrounder and do an equal amount of general feeder fishing, float fishing and straight carp fishing.

I am a big fan of using hemp/corn/particle attack for carp (not a fan of boilies) aswell as using the method feeder, and a groundbait attack for tench/bream.

Over the season I will be looking to target all the species that crockerton offers but just looking for some general tips for the lake!

Also because I've never fished the lake is it benficial to do a bit of marker float work (not sure if there are underwater features on the lake)?

Any help would be greatly appreciated and i look forward to tackling this new venue, which will be a nice change from shearwater/little shearwater/hunters moon.

Tight lines
