Re: the river bann I have just started fishing and i went to the river bann in portglenone a few weeks ago. I used a swim feeder with maggots and sweet corn on the hook feeding out standard ground bait. I only cast a short distance out and i caught a few decent roach and and a nice perch. If u try this u it should work :) Jack Pike 123

Re: the river bann would give the lower bann a miss at the moment lads as the fishing is a bit dire on it u should try the blackwater at the back of the argorory as it is fishing well u should also check out fishingposts.com as the lower bann angling club use it and they will keep you upto date with how the lower bann is fishing

Re: the river bann Yeah mate im on about upper bann in portadown town centre. Have only really fished it for pike with not much luck. Have u fished the blackwater at the argory much? We've pulled hundreds upon hundreds of roach out of it this last 2 months and its only goin to get better! Wish I could find a decent pike or bream though! We've had a few small trout from it as well
