| species-hunting, and a personal milestone I started the year having caught 47 species of fish, and decided that my goal for '11 would be to get #50. Last month I pulled a steelcolor shiner out of the Guest River for #48. Last week I pulled an orangespotted sunfish out of the same pool on that river for #49. Yesterday afternoon I had a little less than an hour to fish before it was time to pick up my daughter from school. I caught 2 rockbass (redeye), a creek chub, and 3 bigmouth chubs. The bigmouth chubs are species #50. Should I make a run at 60 this year? __________________ 2012 species: 13 All-time species: 65 New species caught in 2012: white sucker, popeye shiner, white shiner |

| Re: species-hunting, and a personal milestone I think I'm gonna try! I've heard rumors that the walleye & sauger are running in my local rivers, so 52 could be very realistic this month. __________________ 2012 species: 13 All-time species: 65 New species caught in 2012: white sucker, popeye shiner, white shiner |
