trout season when can i fish for them

hi when does the trout season of non migratory trout,?? start pls an do i need a special lisence ,sorry aBOUT spelling mistakes , an can i spin for trout an use lures

My Uncle is a water bailiff for a stretch of the Upper River Kennet, Berkshire (where Martin Bowler from Angling Times caught some large Perch not so long back), they started their Trout Season on Friday 1st April, Fly Fishing only, no lures or baits.
A standard rod licence is required (Coarse and Non Migratory Trout).
