| Re: pva mesh in freezer Dont know if this is right or not (please correct me guys if I am wrong) but I would imagine once the sticks defrost the moisture will destroy the pva and you will be left with a semi frozen stick of groundbait and melted pva. The only way to avoid this is to keep em frozen till you get to the bank and get them in the water straight away but then I am not sure how this will affect the breakdown of the groundbait inside. I would say you are better off making the sticks before your session and avoiding the freezer & possible moisture, all together. |

| Re: pva mesh in freezer Ive never tried this but you could maybe put them in a air tight bag first and see what happens, but if it was me I would jus make a few the night before then the rest on the bank when im bored __________________ Species 2011.. | Re: pva mesh in freezer soak them in a oil first , then put into tubs should work as the oil stop the water test a couple and see if it works |

| Re: pva mesh in freezer The problem is if you soak them in oil it takes ages for them to dissolve. __________________ Check my blog for a daily fishing forecast from Weymouth, Portland, Chesil Beach & Kimmeridge Bay. www.fishingtails.co.uk |
